Day 101 – 28th May 2011
Stanley Rest Area, WA (200km South of Broome)
We drove into Port Hedland mid morning. Port Hedland is another mining port, so very industrial and not really a touristy place. Had a quick look at the port from the town’s jetty at Marapikurrinya Park and the town’s Cemetery Beach (a bit of a weird name for a beach) before filling up with fuel to continue our way to Broome.
