Day 141 – 7th July 2011
Gagudju Lodge Cooinda, Kakadu National Park, NT
This morning we had to get up early for the sunrise boat cruise, leaving at 6.45am from Cooinda. We sprayed up to protect us from the mosquitoes as the little buggers are very much present in this national park and especially at dawn and dusk! It was a pleasant cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong and South Alligator River with plenty of birdlife to be seen and of course also some crocodile spotting. In the afternoon we relaxed at the caravan park with several swims in the pool to cool off.
