Day 36 – 24th Mar 2011
David & Julie Home Stay Farm Place, WA (approx 30km east of Denmark)
Drove to Shelley Beach for breaky in West Cape Howe NP (good spot to camp) and then onto Denmark and hiked to Monkey Rock and Mt Hallowell (394m ASL – 99m climb) along with a swim at Ocean Beach. We were able to catch up with David and Julie some very nice people we met at the Esperance Caravan park who were house sitting on a farm east of Denmark. Had a great night, good food and a comfy bed in the house for the night a nice change from the van although we do find it quite comfortable in the van.
