Day 48 – 5th April 2011
Prevelly Park Caravan Park, Prevelly Park, WA
Decided to move on to Prevelly Park via Redgate Beach and set up camp with the tent at the Caravan Park and stay for a few days to catch up on some chores (washing etc). Timing has worked out well as there is an International Pro Surfing comp on at the local beach here (Surfers Point) for the week. Went down to have a look mid morning and stayed for the remaining days event till mid afternoon. We saw some fantastic surfing on what looked to be some good size waves. We’re heading back there tomorrow, as Kelly Slater is on in the 4th heat of the day, awesome. Finished the day with a swim and met some nice Kiwis in the Caravan Park who we caught up with for tea.
