Day 49 – 6th April 2011
Prevelly Park Caravan Park, Prevelly Park, WA
Well we got to see Kelly Slater in action, there was a fair crowd turn out compared to yesterday, just to see him we reckon as the crowd got a lot smaller as soon as he had finished his heat. It looked like he wasn’t going to get through to the next round but caught a wave in the last 5mins that saw him through.
We left the surf comp around lunch time and headed back to the caravan park for a lazy afternoon as the weather was starting to change. The forecast predicted rain for the region, the first in about 2 months apparently. Decided to pack the tent up that night before the rain set in as we were heading off the following day, glad we did as it rained heavily all night. Spent the remaining night blogging trying to catch up on the last 49 days.
