Day 11 – 27th Feb 2011
Walkers Rock, Lake Newland Conservation Park, SA

Had breaky with Peter and Paula before saying goodbye.  We were treated to a wonderful breakfast of poached eggs with spinach and chilli – beautiful.  Thanks Peter and Paula for your hospitality we had a wonderful time, thanks for the homegrown tomatoes, chillies, basil, spring onion, lemongrass and of course the left over whiting we had caught.

Visited:
Leo Cummings Lookout – thanks Peter for the tip for viewing the nest

Sheringa Beach

Locks Well Beach – saw some large salmon schools right on the beach, would have been a sure thing if we had dropped in a line, they looked pretty big.

Elliston – scenic drive – sculptures on the cliff

Camped at Walkers Rock in Lake Newland CP – had a swim and watched a beautiful sunset.
