Day 75 – 2nd May 2011
Ellendale Pool Campsite, WA (near Geraldton)
Went for a run and refreshing morning swim before packing up. Stopped at Grigson’s Lookout with views of Mt Leseur NP, Greenhead where we had a look at Dynamite Beach, Leeman (T Tree Lookout), Port Denison (South Beach and Fishermen’s Lookout) and Dongara where we went for a walk to the Irwin river mouth.
Camped at Ellendale Pool where we had a bbq. Unfortunately a farmer was doing some burning nearby with all the smoke heading our way so it wasn’t as pleasant as it could have been. But well worth the trip as Ellendale Pool is nice.
