Anchorage Caravan Park, Kalbarri, WA
Well we decided to get up early and head out to Kalbarri NP to have a look at the Murchison river and gorges. Apparently it gets quite a bit hotter in the NP then in town, so it’s best to do the walk first thing. The road into the park is very corrugated, but worth the effort. We did the loop walk (8km – 3hr 15mins) which took us along the cliff tops of the gorge and down into the river beds - a very nice walk. After the walk we came back into Kalbarri and had lunch and a swim at Chinamans Beach where we decided to relax for the rest of the day.
