Day 87– 14th May 2011
Osprey Bay Campsite, Cape Range National Park, Exmouth, WA

Got up early and arrived at the National Park entrance by 6.30am. There were already 3 other vehicles lined up. Park ranger arrived at 8am and by then were 9 cars waiting. We were lucky enough to get a spot in Osprey Bay campsite. Our camp hosts informed us later that all camp spots were filled by 8.30am.
Once our camping fees were paid we drove to Yardie Creek for a gorge walk (2km return). Pleasant walk, they say allow 2 hours return but you really only need 1h max. After lunch we walked south from Yardie Creek to 1K Campsite - 4W drive access only from here as you need to cross the creek - we had to take our shoes off. We had fun watching green coloured crabs hide as soon as you approached them. Tricky to get a photo! Returned to our campsite and relaxed.
