Alicia and Bill’s Place, Chandler, QLD
This morning we caught the bus into town a bit earlier and got off at South Bank. We went for a lovely walk along the Brisbane River towards Kangaroo Point where you can walk up the cliffs and get a great view over the city. We took the pedestrian bridge over the river and walked via the Botanic Gardens to the centre of town. Andrew caught up with a work colleague from GHD whilst Nele had a haircut (more a trim than a real cut) and watched some Aboriginal performances in the mall. Afterwards we enjoyed a Subway lunch (which we enjoyed as it had been a while since we last had one) and took the bus back to Fortitude Valley to buy Andrew’s boots and other hiking stuff. In the evening we enjoyed a nice bbq dinner with Alicia and Bill as we are moving on tomorrow.
