Cosy Corner Campground, WA (between Albany & Denmark)

Day 35 – 23rd Mar 2011
Cosy Corner Campground, WA (between Albany & Denmark)

Got up early drove along Frenchman Bay to Torndirrup NP where we hiked from Isthmus Hill to Bald Head (16km Return – 4 hrs). This was a great walk as it was along a narrow landmass where there was coastal views on both sides as we walked, it was almost like a ridge walk, very scenic, highly recommended.

Went for a refreshing swim at Misery Beach after our big walk and followed up with a visit to the ‘Gap’ and the ‘Natural Bridge’. Finished the day with a visit to the windmill farm and took the scenic drive towards Denmark where we camped at Cosy Corner. Cosy Corner was actually full (free camping so we went next door to the picnic area (not legal) but there were some other campers there also due to the overflow. It was a much nicer place to camp, so we were happy.
