The Boulders Campsite, Innisfail, QLD

Day 234 – 8th October 2011
The Boulders Campsite, Innisfail, QLD

After a sleep-in to recover from the walk yesterday, we drove to Bramston Beach - another nice beach as you have so many around this area. Next we took the back way via Garradunga to Flying Fish Point where we had lunch. We continued on to Innisfail and had a walk around town to view the many art deco style buildings. Afterwards we drove to Mourilyan Harbour, home to the Mourilyan Sugar Terminal, and on to beautiful Etty Bay where we saw some cassowaries walking along the beach. We had dinner with a view at Etty Bay and afterwards returned to The Boulders campsite to get a good night’s sleep for tomorrow’s walk.
